Occupational Therapy with Dr. Oriahna June

Oriahna June is a proudly Autistic doctor of occupational therapy from here in the Pacific Northwest. Her life and practice is steeped in fantasy books, artistic endeavors and games. Oriahna prioritizes functional and healthy outcomes over concepts like compliance and obedience.

She approaches therapy through the lens of acceptance and affirmation, collaborating with families to help find what healthy and functional looks like, because “healthy” is different for every person.
Dr. Oriahna works with children ages 5 –18 here at The Real Work.

Occupational Therapy will address a variety of needs and conditions including:
-Exploring and understanding Neurodiverse needs
-Finding balance with feeding disorders
-Balancing sensory needs and processes
-Building up Sequencing and Praxis skills
-Individualized parent coaching


Dr. Oriahna also works with families to help balance out needs relating to sensory processing, self regulation, scholastic endeavors, fine motor, and functional personal mobility.
