Let’s Connect

Play Therapy and Parenting Support from a Neuro-Relational Perspective

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#T1450) in Portland, OR specializing in working with children and families. I am trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and in DIR/Floortime therapy, a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to working with children, especially those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other sensory processing differences. The work that I do with individuals, families, and parent-child relationships is influenced by interpersonal neurobiology and current research on attachment theory and mind-body integration. I love supporting parents and families as they confront new diagnoses or work through new challenges that come with with each stage of development.

In my free time I enjoy backpacking, trail running, and playing outdoors with my kids and adorable dog, Zuko.

When you work with me, we will focus on:

Creating a Sense of Safety in Relationship

Identifying Emotional, Regulatory, and Social Challenges

Increasing connection and a sense of satisfaction with yourself and your child using Interpersonal Neurobiology, Developmental Neuroscience, Attachment Theory, and Skills-based support such as CBT, DBT, or Parent-Child Relationship Therapy

Play Therapy With Rebekah is…

About connecting with the needs that are underneath your outward expression or behavior. We will use a holistic approach to uncover how you and your child’s individual differences, history, temperament, and particular strengths and challenges influence your ability to connect.
